RECYCLE YOUR FACE MASKS AT CENTRAL PARK

As part of Central Park’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have introduced a new recycling stream for disposable face masks in our Green Room located in Basement 3.

This is a Zero Waste box from Terracycle. Click here to learn what happens to your disposable face mask.

The mask waste stream accepts non-woven disposable plastic-based face masks including 3-ply surgical, dust masks, KN95, and N95 masks. Please do not include reusable cloth masks or packaging.

The Green Room at Central Park, which all tenants have access to, is a one-stop-shop where you can properly dispose of all of your non-organic products.

The Green Room on B3 provides a communal point of recycling and features the following streams:

  • E-waste: TVs, power tools, keyboard/mouse, printers/scanners, kitchen appliances, cables/cords — basically anything that can be plugged in!
  • Polystyrene
  • Batteries: batteries from cameras, mobile phones, laptops, remote controls
  • Aerosol
  • Fluorescent light tubes & globes: UV, metal halide, fluorescent (u-tubes, compact and linear), mercury vapour, sodium vapour lamps.
  • Printer cartridges: Cartridges 4 Planet Ark — accepts mixed, inkjet and laser cartridges, as well as unused cartridges, toner bottles, fuser and drum units from the following brands: Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, Kyocera, Toshiba, Fuji Xerox, Samsung, Sharp, Dell, Konica Minolta, Lexmark.
  • Soft plastics: accepts only clear plastic wrap (not black or plastic shopping bags)

As it is a shared facility, we ask that if you have need to dispose of your items in bulk, please contact Central Park Management on 9481 8000 or reception@centralparktower.com.au to arrange this separately.
